We offer a full kilt hire service for adults and children (from age 3), with a range of tartans, and kilt jacket styles to suit your personal preference.
GENTS KILT HIRE
- Outfits available from £85 to £100
- Kilt – choice of 6 tartans from traditional clan tartans to more contemporary ones
- Kilt Jackets – Crail jacket & 5 button waistcoat available in Black or Charcoal Grey.
- Sporrans – dress and semi dress available.
- Black Ghillie Brogues
- Kilt Hose – cream, black & grey available
- Kilt Flashes – plain colours to tone with the chosen tartan
- Dress Shirt – either wing collar or standard collar in white or black
- A selection of tie options – Black bow ties, standard gents ties and Ruche ties available in various colours
- Kilt pin, cuff links and imitation Sgian Dubh
- Plaids available in each of the tartans
- Face coverings are available to buy in the hire collection tartans.
Most items are available for hire separately.
BOYS KILT HIRE
from age 3 upwards (approx)
- Outfits available for £65

- Kilt Jacket (either Black Crail or Charcoal Grey Crail) No waistcoats available in boys sizes
- Semi dress sporran
- Black leather Ghillie Brogues
- Kilt Hose – cream, black & grey available
- Kilt Flashes – plain colours to tone with the chosen tartan
- Dress Shirt – either wing collar or standard collar with a black bow tie or standard tie in various colours
- Childs Face coverings are available to buy in the hire collection tartans.
Most items are available for hire separately.

Kilt HIre FAQ
Like all Kilt Hire facilities, we only have hire kilts available in a specific range of tartans. As much as we would love to, it is simply not possible or feasible to have hire kilts in all tartans. We have kilts available in the following tartans:
- Black Watch
- Campbell of Argyle Ancient
- Gunn Modern
- Hebridean Granite
- Lindsay Modern
- Scottish Thistle

Please note, we cannot get a hire kilt in a tartan not listed above.
For weekend hire, items can be collected anytime after 9am on a Wednesday morning and returned on a Tuesday morning. Note we are closed on a Sunday and a Monday.
Our standard adult package includes:- a kilt (choice of 16 tartans), kilt jacket (either Prince Charlie with a 3 button waistcoat or Crail with 5 button waistcoat in black or charcoal), sporran (either dress or semi dress), ghillie brogues, hose (cream, black charcoal or Navy) flashes, kilt pin, kilt belt, dress shirt (white or Black), tie (various options), cuff links and an imitation sgian dubh.
There are also extras that can be ordered – for more details please visit our hire section.
Our standard boys package includes:- a kilt (choice of 16 tartans), Crail kilt jacket (either black or charcoal), semi-dress sporran, black ghillie brogues, hose(cream, black, charcoal or Navy) & flashes, kilt belt, dress shirt (wing or standard collar) and either a black bow tie or a standard tie in various colours.
The whole package is returned.
NB: We do all laundering of items.
Yes, most items are available for hire on their own or we can do partial packages if you have some items of your own.
